Ferry Pilot is an online marketplace that connects aircraft owners who need a plane delivered with vetted, FAA-certified ferry pilots. We handle quotes, pilot selection, payments, document routing, and in-flight tracking — so you don't have to pick up the phone.
You enter your start + destination airports and the aircraft, get an instant quote, pay in full up front, and we match you with a vetted pilot. The pilot accepts, admin verifies credentials, the ferry flies, the pilot submits a flight log, admin reviews, and funds are released to the pilot.
Every pilot on the platform holds at minimum a current FAA Private Pilot certificate, a valid medical, and has passed our document verification. Many hold Commercial, Instrument, CFI, and ATP ratings. You see each pilot's credentials before booking.
The aircraft must be covered by the owner's existing hull/liability policy, and the assigned pilot must be a named insured or fit the open-pilot warranty. We collect confirmation before any flight departs. We never insure the airframe itself.
We currently operate within the continental United States. Cross-border flights (Canada, Mexico, Caribbean) are evaluated case by case and must be pre-approved by our operations team.
All dates/times shown in your dashboard, emails, and receipts auto-convert to your browser's local timezone. The badge at the bottom-right confirms which timezone is rendering. Server records are stored in UTC.
