Terms of Service
Last updated: April 19, 2026 · Effective: April 19, 2026
These Terms are a binding agreement between you and American Aviation Parts LC ("AAP", "we", "us"), the operator of Ferry Flight Hub (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter contracts. If you sign up as a pilot, you represent that you hold all FAA certificates, ratings, and medical required for the flights you accept, and that your aircraft (if any) is airworthy and insured for the operation.
2. What Ferry Flight Hub is — and is not
Ferry Flight Hub is an online marketplace that helps aircraft owners find independent FAA-certificated ferry pilots and vice versa. We are not an air carrier, we do not operate flights, we are not an FAR Part 135 operator, and we do not hold out common carriage. All flights are conducted under FAR Part 91 by the pilot-in-command, who has sole authority over the flight. The aircraft owner is responsible for airworthiness, required inspections, and insurance that covers the operation and the pilot flying it.
3. Your account
- One account per person. Keep your credentials confidential; you are responsible for actions taken under your account.
- Provide accurate, current information. We may suspend accounts with false or misleading information.
- You may delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete my account.
4. Bookings, fees, and payouts
- Prices are set by the pilot or by AAP's quoting engine with the customer's agreement at booking time.
- AAP charges a platform fee of up to 20% of the base flight price. Payment processing fees (currently 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction) are passed through from our payment processor.
- Customer is charged on booking. Pilot payouts are released after the flight log is approved, typically within 3 business days, minus fees and any tax withholding we are required to perform.
- Cancellation and refund rules are shown on the booking detail page before you confirm. Severe-weather cancellations follow published policy and are not penalized.
- 1099 tax forms are issued to pilots meeting IRS thresholds.
5. Pilot obligations
- Hold every certificate, rating, medical, and currency required for the flight, and upload truthful supporting documents.
- Conduct preflight planning and go/no-go decisions consistent with regulations and safe operating practice. You may decline any flight.
- File required FAA paperwork and maintain your flight logs.
- Do not operate under the influence of alcohol or controlled substances, and honor all FAA duty-time limits that apply to you.
6. Customer / aircraft owner obligations
- Ensure the aircraft is airworthy, current on inspections, and insured for commercial ferry operations by non-owner pilots. Upload the certificate of insurance naming the pilot when requested.
- Provide accurate aircraft, route, and fuel information.
- Pay all agreed fees and any pre-flight deposits.
7. Prohibited conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for unlawful purposes or in violation of FAA regulations.
- Circumvent the platform to avoid fees after being introduced through the Service (for 12 months after first contact).
- Impersonate another person, falsify credentials, or misuse another user's account.
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or interfere with the Service.
- Upload content that is unlawful, infringing, or misleading.
8. User content
You retain ownership of content you upload (photos, messages, documents). You grant AAP a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, and display that content solely to operate and improve the Service. You represent that you have the right to upload it.
9. Intellectual property
The Service, including the name "Ferry Flight Hub", the mobile app, this website, and all associated software and designs, is owned by AAP or its licensors and protected by US and international IP laws. These Terms grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use the Service.
10. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, AND WE DO NOT WARRANT ANY PARTICULAR RESULT. AAP IS NOT A PARTY TO THE FLIGHT CONTRACT BETWEEN CUSTOMER AND PILOT AND IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE SAFETY, LEGALITY, OR QUALITY OF ANY FLIGHT.
11. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AAP AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUES, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO AAP IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR USD $100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
12. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify AAP against any third-party claim arising out of your breach of these Terms, your content, your flights, or your violation of law.
13. Dispute resolution
We will first try to resolve disputes informally — contact us through our support page and we will respond within 30 days. If we cannot resolve it, any remaining dispute will be resolved by binding arbitration seated in Maricopa County, Arizona, administered by JAMS under its Streamlined Arbitration Rules. You waive the right to participate in a class action or class arbitration. Either party may still bring an individual claim in small-claims court. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to conflicts of law.
14. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access for violations of these Terms, regulatory risk, or extended inactivity. Sections that by their nature survive termination (fees owed, IP, disclaimers, liability caps, dispute resolution) will survive.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We will post the new version on this page and, for material changes, notify you at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
